Terms of service
These terms describe the scope of Cameo PoS, user responsibilities, usage-based charges and contact channels for service-related requests.
Content updated:
This content is being finalized. The operator’s legal details, refund policy and data retention periods need confirmation before an official version is issued. The update date is not a contractual effective date.
1. Scope of the service
Cameo PoS provides store sales management through the functions available in the application and described on the website. The website introduces the product and receives enquiries; registration and sign-in take place in the Cameo PoS application. You need a suitable device and internet connection. Printer support depends on the model and connection; confirm compatibility before purchasing equipment.
2. Accounts and authority
Provide accurate account information and manage a store only when you have authority to do so. Account owners are responsible for protecting sign-in details, managing staff accounts and granting appropriate access. Do not share passwords or verification codes; contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, access other people’s data, distribute malicious software, disrupt systems or bypass access controls. When testing or reporting an issue, use only accounts and data you are authorized to use. You are responsible for the lawfulness of products and content you enter into the system.
4. Free allowances and usage charges
Cameo PoS uses monthly usage-based pricing rather than fixed plans. Each published metric has its own free allowance; excess usage is multiplied by its rate and added to the total charge. Metrics may include orders, products, staff accounts, store locations and product display time. Usage is free when every metric stays within its allowance. The estimator is indicative and excludes applicable taxes; review the price list and account usage records.
5. Billing and reconciliation
Charges are aggregated in monthly usage periods. Review the billing period, usage metrics and amount before paying. Submit questions or discrepancies with the relevant period and records for reconciliation. Payment methods, due dates and handling of unpaid charges need confirmation in the applicable payment notice or agreement; this page does not introduce penalties or promise automatic collection.
6. Store data and content rights
You retain your lawful rights in your content and data. Uploading data does not transfer its ownership to Cameo PoS. Provide only data you are entitled to process, particularly customer and staff information. Processing for service delivery needs to follow the Privacy policy and applicable agreement; rights in other people’s data remain with the relevant rights holders.
7. Operations and support
Connectivity, equipment, maintenance and incidents may affect service use. Check an order’s status before recreating it after an interruption. Help and contact channels are published on the website. This page does not publish a specific uptime, response-time or recovery-time commitment; discuss any requirements for such commitments through an appropriate agreement.
8. Stopping use, account closure and refunds
You can submit a request to stop using the service or close an account through the contact channels. Specify the store, requested date and any data retrieval needs. Not signing in does not automatically close an account or delete data. Incurred charges need reconciliation; refund conditions, termination timing and post-termination retention remain subject to confirmation. This content does not restrict mandatory rights under applicable law.
9. Software and brand rights
Access to the service does not transfer ownership of the software, designs or Cameo PoS brand. Do not use service assets in ways that infringe lawful ownership rights. Your supplied data and content are addressed in the store data section and related policies.
10. Responsibilities and enquiries
The software supports sales management; store owners still need to check orders, prices and reports and meet their accounting, tax and business obligations. For a dispute, submit a description and relevant records through the contact channels for discussion. Rights to compensation, complaints and dispute resolution under applicable law are preserved.
11. Updates to the terms
Versions are identified by their update date. Changes affecting charges, access or data need notice under the applicable agreement and legal requirements before taking effect. Reading the website does not automatically constitute acceptance of every change; notice and acceptance requirements need an appropriate process.
12. Provider and contact details
The official Cameo PoS website is pos.cameostack.com. Contact channels appear below. The provider’s legal name, address and registration details await confirmation for the official version; the Cameo PoS product name does not replace the service provider’s legal identity.
